The Summer Breeze dress epitomises our style: simple, timeless and comfortable. Of all our garments, this is the one I wear the most.

She’s actually been around for a while but it took some time for her to make an appearance on the website – partly because earlier iterations sold out quickly and partly because of my poor management (ho hum)! Anyway, I’m beyond happy that I’ve finally got my act together and here she is for you.

The Summer Breeze has a very relaxed cut with a button-down front, a shirt collar, pockets and a fairly high waistline – although where this lies varies from person to person as we’re all such different shapes (some people wear her with a belt). She’s a fancy-free dress, designed to be worn loose for maximum wafting.

This version is crafted in a cotton/linen mix gingham in an oatmeal colour and complemented by our Jaipur embroidery: two different floral motifs drawn by my daughter, Eloïse, and inspired by a trip to the pink city.

The Summer Breeze dress unquestionably screams summer but will also carry you through the seasons, paired with a tee or a knit when the temperatures drop. We also have versions (different fabrics and embroidery) with bracelet-length sleeves for the cooler months.

With her generous fit and buttoned-down front, this dress can also work brilliantly as a maternity and breastfeeding option.

This dress should be washed separately by hand or in a machine on a gentle programme at 30 degrees max, air-dried and pressed with an iron.
