Hello, and welcome …

Welcome to my London-based studio creating handcrafted and embroidered clothing and home accessories.

I revisit time-honoured embroidery and fabric manipulation techniques in contemporary designs that are inspired by nature.

I work in a collaborative way, sometimes joining forces with artists to create designs and working with skilled artisans in the UK, Europe and India who interpret the designs, bring to them their own touch of magic and make every item unique.

Our garments are comfortable with an effortless style and an easy silhouette. Often, you can tuck conkers into the pockets, hide wobbly bits under the folds or just dance around the garden in them. They are aimed not at any particular age group but to flatter young and old alike.

This is the antithesis of ‘fast fashion’. Our garments are intended to last not just a season, but a generation or more. In order to reduce waste, they’re based on a series of toiles. These are the basic shapes that we and our clients love. We then create embroidery designs for them – throughout the course of the year as inspiration takes us – which are produced in small customised editions or to commission. So, if the clothes are not in stock, please bear with us for a few weeks before they’re ready to be sent.

We’re working to become increasingly sustainable. We use primarily natural fabrics (where possible organic) that feel good and soften with age. We’re looking at natural dyes, our new labels are in sustainable cotton (though we’re finishing old stock too) and we use recycled paper packaging. We still have some way to go but we’ll keep you posted on future progress.

Thank you for joining us on this journey and please keep in touch.
